On Monday, July 7th, 2025, the St. Kitts and Nevis Sailing Association welcomed 13 participants and Coach Hernán Vila Mosso of Argentina to St. Kitts and Nevis for the World Sailing Level 1 Technical Coaching Course—a 7-day program fully sponsored by Olympic Solidarity.
The course began in Nevis with full-day, hands-on theory and practical sessions hosted at the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center in Oualie Bay from July 7th to 10th, 2025. Participants are now continuing the course at the St. Kitts Yacht Club in Frigate Bay from July 11th to 13th, 2025.
The training has been dynamic and highly engaging, equipping future coaches with essential skills to plan and deliver effective sail training programs.

With this investment in coach development, we look forward to seeing more local coaches emerge and the sport of sailing continue to thrive across our Federation.
