The SKN Patriots clipped the wings of the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons as the 2025 CPL season bowled off at Warner Park in St. Kitts on Thursday night.

Boatloads of Nevisians joined their Kittitian brothers and sisters to witness the action live, braving the forecast of Tropical Storm Erin–related showers, which, fortunately, never materialised.

Batting first, the Falcons could only muster 121 in 17.1 overs. Karima Gore was the standout performer with a gritty 61, while Qais Ahmad Salamkheil delivered an impressive bowling spell, claiming 4 wickets for 22 runs.

The Patriots started their chase briskly, thanks to the aggressive stroke play of Evin Lewis and Andre Fletcher. A brief hiccup followed with the introduction of Rahkeem Cornwall’s off-spin, but Alick Athanaze steadied the innings, finishing unbeaten on 37. The Patriots sealed the win in the 15th over, sending their fans into celebration.
