The much-anticipated Hardtimes Tape Ball League bowls off this Sunday, September 7, promising another season of thrilling cricket action.
President of the Hardtimes Sports Club, Micah Williams, is encouraging the sporting public to come out in full support, noting that fans can expect the usual high-energy atmosphere and community excitement.
As part of the day’s festivities, there will be giveaways for children, including back-to-school supplies, along with special prizes for spectators who catch balls hit over the boundary.
Williams extended gratitude to his dedicated team and the many sponsors who have already pledged their support for the league.
The opening match begins at 1:00 p.m., featuring a showdown between two Guyanese squads: Rakeesh’s team vs. Chris’ team. Immediately after, the Jets will face off against local powerhouse Bushwhackers of Rawlins Village.
