North Sound, Antigua — Trinidad and Tobago Red Force hold a commanding position over the Leeward Islands Hurricanes at the close of day two in their West Indies Championship encounter.
After being bowled out for 138, the Hurricanes struggled to establish momentum with the bat. Jahmar Hamilton top-scored with 44, while Red Force bowlers Bryan Charles and Khary Pierre each claimed three wickets to dismantle the Leewards’ innings.
In response, Trinidad and Tobago posted a strong 380 for 5, led by an outstanding 133 not out from Amir Jangoo, who anchored the innings with a composed century.
For the Hurricanes, fast bowler Oshane Thomas was the most effective with the ball, finishing with figures of 3 for 82.
At stumps on day two, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force lead by 242 runs, placing them firmly in control as the match heads into day three.
