Nevis Chess Star Demarre Browne Crowned National Champion

Nevisian chess standout Demarre Browne has been crowned the National Chess Champion of St. Kitts and Nevis after emerging victorious in the recent St. Kitts and Nevis Chess Federation National Championship.

As National Champion, Demarre has earned the honour of representing St. Kitts and Nevis at the prestigious 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad, scheduled to take place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from September 15 to 28, 2026. The Olympiad is the world’s premier team chess competition, bringing together top players from across the globe.
