The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has recovered a quantity of assorted ammunition during a joint search operation conducted at an empty lot on Agnes Skerrit Street, New Road, St. Kitts.

The operation took place on July 28, 2026, and involved officers from the RSCNPF’s Anti-Narcotics Unit and Special Services Unit, the Joint Security Operational Tactical Team (JSOTT), and the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF).

A total of fifty-nine (59) rounds of assorted ammunition were recovered, comprising fifteen (15) 9mm rounds, ten (10) .223 rounds, seventeen (17) .38 Special rounds, eight (8) .40 calibre rounds, six (6) .45 calibre rounds, and three (3) 7.62 rounds.

The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit of the RSCNPF, and the ammunition was taken into police custody for further investigation. No one has been arrested or charged in connection with the discovery, and investigations remain ongoing.
