From July 28–30, 2026, Corporals of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) participated in Corporals’ Supervisory Training 2026, a three-day programme designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of the Force’s frontline supervisors.
Commissioner of Police Mr James Sutton set the tone during the opening session with remarks that challenged the Corporals to think beyond the immediate and focus on the bigger picture. He emphasised that the decisions they make and the directives they issue as supervisors have far-reaching effects throughout the Force and the communities they serve.
Commissioner Sutton encouraged the participants to sharpen their ability to think on their feet, exercise sound judgment, and make prudent, well-considered decisions. He urged them to fully embrace their roles as leaders—not just officers—and to apply every lesson learned directly to their daily operations. 🎯
The training focused on three critical pillars, each facilitated by a senior member of the Force’s High Command:

📘 Policies — facilitated by Deputy Commissioner of Police Cromwell Henry (July 29)
📘 Developing Effective Station Officers through Professionalism, Accountability, and Service Excellence — facilitated by Force Personnel Officer Ms Eartha Carey (July 30)
