Trinidad & Tobago delivered a dominant performance to comfortably defeat host team Leeward Islands by 8 wickets with 40 balls to spare. Electing to bowl, Trinidad & Tobago restricted the Leeward Islands to just 50 runs, bowling them out in 16.2 overs. Trinidad & Tobago chased down the target in 13.2 overs, finishing on 52/2 to secure a comprehensive win.
