ST. JOHN’S, ANTIGUA — Jamaica Under-19s Women and Guyana Under-19s Women concluded their CWI Rising Stars Women’s U19 Championship campaigns on a high note today, August 15, 2026, claiming victory in their respective playoff fixtures in Antigua.
3rd Place Playoff: Jamaica U19 Women Claim 3rd Place
At Coolidge Cricket Ground, Jamaica Under-19 Women secured third place in the tournament with a controlled five-wicket win over Leeward Islands Under-19s Women.
After winning the toss and fielding, Jamaica restricted the Leeward Islands to 69/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Jamaica chased down the target with ease, finishing at 70/5 in 16.3 overs to seal victory with 21 balls remaining.

5th Place Playoff: Guyana U19 Women Dominate Windwards
At Liberta Sports Club, Guyana Under-19s Women produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Windward Islands Under-19s Women by 64 runs and claim fifth place.
Batting first, Guyana posted 100/7 in 20 overs. In response, a disciplined Guyanese bowling attack dismantled the Windward Islands batting lineup, bowling them out for just 36 runs in 14 overs.
