CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS – Sunrise secured the Blackett-Pemberton football tournament championship trophy on Tuesday, September 8, delivering a decisive 3-1 victory over rivals Over the Top in the grand final at ET Willett Park.
Sunrise established early dominance, taking a comfortable 2-0 lead into halftime. Over the Top struck back early in the second half to cut the deficit to 2-1 and spark hopes of a comeback, but Sunrise responded with a third and final goal to seal the win and silence the opposition’s supporters.
At the final whistle, Sunrise was officially crowned champions and presented with the grand winner’s trophy.
