CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is currently investigating a suspected drowning incident that occurred along Samuel Hunkins Drive in Charlestown, Nevis, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2026.

At approximately 3:30 PM, police officers responded to a distress report regarding a male in the water a short distance from the shoreline. Officers, with help from two members of the public, retrieved the individual from the water.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel responded immediately to the scene; however, despite all resuscitation attempts, the victim was pronounced deceased. He has since been identified as 16-year-old Arad Aulder of Craddock Road, Nevis.

Crime Scene Technicians have processed the scene, and an autopsy has been requested to determine the exact cause of death formally. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain active and ongoing.
