Charlestown, Nevis — The annual Primary Schools’ Football League on Nevis officially kicks off on Friday, October 9, 2026, with a brief opening ceremony at the Elquemedo T. Willett (ETW) Park, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

The tournament runs until Sunday, November 8, 2026, with primary schools from across Nevis competing for honours.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the first round of matches will begin at 3:30 p.m. across two fields.

Friday, October 9 — Round One

Field One

3:30 p.m. — Nevis Academy vs. IWPS

4:30 p.m. — EPPS vs. JLPS

Field Two

3:30 p.m. — Maude Cross Preparatory vs. St. James’ Primary

4:30 p.m. — VOJN vs. Montessori

5:30 p.m. — Charlestown Primary vs. St. Thomas’ Primary

The second round of matches is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Admission

Adults will pay an admission fee of $5.00 per game day, while a regular-season pass is available for $30.00.

Children will be admitted free of charge.

Organisers are encouraging parents, guardians, families, and football enthusiasts to come out and support the young players throughout the tournament.

Importantly, all proceeds collected at the gate will be distributed among the participating schools, providing additional support for their continued development and participation in the competition.

The Primary Schools’ Football League promises an exciting month of youth football while promoting teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among the island’s primary school students.
