(BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS) – The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) in St. Kitts is currently investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Buckley’s Estate, St. Kitts last night.
According to information issued by the police at about 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, Dwight ‘Mac 11’ Jacobs and a young male, both of Buckley’s Estate were at ‘Ground Zero Shop’ which is also located at Buckley’s Estate when a lone masked gunman entered the establishment and opened fire on the victims.
Both men were able to flee the scene.
Police indicated that the assailant perused the victims and continued discharging his loaded firearm at them. Both men sustained injuries and ran to the JNF Hospital.
Police is asking the public to relay any available information by calling any police station, Crimestoppers at 1-800-8477, or the VCU at 467 1886, 87, 88.
