Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 09, 2015 (SKNIS)—His Excellency the Governor-General Mr. Tapley S. W. Seaton C.V.O., Q.C., J.P., has appointed Mr. Dennis Michael Morton, J.P., as Governor-General’s Deputy in his absence.
The Governor-General will be attending the 2015 U.W.I. Open Campus Presentation of Graduates Ceremony in St. John’s Antigua on Saturday 10th October, 2015.
His Excellency the Governor-General’s Deputy, Mr. Dennis Michael Morton, was administered the Oath of Office and the Oath of Allegiance by the Governor-General on Thursday afternoon (October 8) at Government House in the presence of members of his immediate family.
His Excellency the Governor-General’s Deputy will represent the Governor-General at several functions over the weekend including the reception marking the 104th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the International Dinner of the St. Kitts Rotary Club on the grounds of Government House.
