Consultant, Mr. Fionn Farrell, has been given the task under the ECMMAN project of developing both a National Management Framework for Fisheries Priority Areas and developing a Community- Based Management Plan for the proposed Narrows Fishing Priority Area. Please be advised that a series of consultations with fishers are being hosted by the NHCS and the Dept. of Marine Resources to help develop the management of proposed Fisheries Priority Areas throughout the Federation including the Narrows Fishing Priority Area. All Fishers are invited to attend and contribute to the planning process. The meeting will be held on Sunday, December 20th at the Red Cross Building from 5-6pm. The meeting are open to all fishers throughout the Federation.
