On March 12th, 2024 between 4:30 PM and 5 PM, an accident occurred at the intersection of the Island Main Road and Beach Road in Gingerland, Nevis.
Two cars were involved in the accident, with license plate numbers PA-7512 and PA-1840 respectively.
The cars were both motor cars, and their owners and drivers were Leslie Huggins of Rawlins Village, Nevis, and Tamerelle Browne of Rawlins Village, Nevis.
There were no pedestrians involved in the accident, but Ms Browne, who was pregnant at the time of the accident, sustained injuries and was issued a medical form.
The accident did not result in any fatalities.
Initial investigations suggest that Mr Huggins was driving from Charlestown towards Gingerland and attempted to overtake Ms Browne, who was driving in the same direction.
During the overtaking manoeuvre, Mr Huggins collided with the right front of Ms Browne’s vehicle in the vicinity of Striker’s Garage.
