Adelvin Philip signs up with Leewards Hurricanes Franchise

The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School will be missing its long serving and outstanding coach, Adelvin Phillip, for at least a year in the first instance.
Phillip recently received what he termed as a ‘long overdue’ contract with the Leewards Hurricanes Franchise team, for the upcoming regional season.
He explained that he will be based with the other members of the squad, in St. Kitts and would basically be in training sessions and representative matches, as a professional cricketer, for the next year, in the first instance.
‘I was looking forward to this call up for a long time,’ he said and stated quite categorically that now he has the chance, ‘I am going to hold it in my hands and squeeze it.’

Phillip is however vowing that during his periods of break from the squad, he will return to his beloved school, to assist in anyway he can.
