Basseterre, St. Kitts — October 29, 2025:
Akeem Sage of Central Fiennes Avenue and Prince Patterson of Wades Garden, both residents of Basseterre, have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment at His Majesty’s Prison in connection with two armed robberies committed in 2023.
Both men were indicted on two counts of robbery each—one relating to an incident at The Grocery Store on Cayon Street on April 23, 2023, and the other at Good World Chinese Supermarket on Trafalgar Road on May 10, 2023.
Mr Sage was sentenced to nine (9) years’ imprisonment for the first robbery and twelve (12) years for the second. Mr Patterson received sentences of eight (8) years and ten (10) years respectively for the two offences.
The sentences are to run concurrently, with time spent on remand and one-third remission to be deducted in accordance with prison policy.
Both men were sentenced at the St. Christopher High Court in Basseterre by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley KC.
