TAIPEI, TAIWAN — St. Kitts and Nevis’ Resident Ambassador to the Republic of China (Taiwan), His Excellency Donya L. Francis, presented certificates of participation to eighteen individuals who completed the “Where Did My Money Go?” Budgeting Workshop 2026.
The workshop, held on Saturday, April 18, was organised by the Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of China (Taiwan) in partnership with KGC Inc. of the Kivision Group. It aimed to assist young people in managing their finances while studying in Taiwan.
Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis studying in Taiwan, along with participants from other CARICOM and African countries, attended the session and received certificates upon completion of the morning workshop, which focused on financial management and budgeting.
“Your presence reflects a strong commitment to personal growth and financial responsibility, both of which are essential as you navigate life and studies here in Taiwan,” Ambassador Francis stated.
He noted that the workshop aligns with the vision of the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis through initiatives such as the ASPIRE Programme, which seeks to empower young people through education, skills development, and opportunity.
“Financial literacy is a key part of that empowerment, ensuring that you are not only academically prepared but also equipped to make sound financial decisions for your future,” he added.
The Embassy also expressed its sincere appreciation to KGC Inc. for its continued support and partnership.
