Basseterre: St. Kitts: The Ministry of Education – St. Kitts is currently accepting applications for teaching positions to be filled for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
ALL applicants will be obliged to attend a two (2) week Pre-Service Seminar/Workshop at the Advance Vocational Education Centre (AVEC), Taylor’s Range, Basseterre. The Pre-Service Seminar will run from Monday, 24th June to Friday, 5th July, 2024.
Individuals who wish to teach at the Early Childhood or Primary Level must have at least FIVE CSEC subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, a Social Science subject (History/Social Studies/Geography) and a Science subject. Individuals who wish to teach at the Secondary level must possess at least five CSEC subjects including English Language and the relevant passes at the CAPE Level or above.
Additionally, qualified applicants will be required to sit a literacy and numeracy test.
ALL applications should reach the Ministry of Education, 3rd Floor, Cable Building, Cayon Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts no later than Friday, 31st May, 2024.
