A one-week Aquatic camp, hosted by the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center, at Oualie beach, climaxed on Friday 27th August, with a Catamaran sail for the participants.
The week catered for children ranging from ages 5 to 18 and was action-packed, educational, and fun-filled.
The children were exposed to Marine Biology Classes, sailing courses, swimming classes, and beach games.
The catamaran sail ended at the beach at Yachtsman’s, where there was an official closing and certification ceremony and the children were provided with snacks.
One of the Coordinators of the program, Mrs. Danielle Connor, officiated at the closing ceremony, along with the Director of Sports, Mr. Jamir Claxton.
