Association Presidents Pay Courtesy Call on Minister of Sports In Nevis

Two distinguished gentlemen out of St. Kitts, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Sports in the Nevis Island Administration, Hon. Eric Evelyn, on Thursday 7th October.

Showing up at the Minister’s office were: Mr. Atiba Harris, newly elected President of St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) and Mr. Delwayne Delaney, President of St. Kitts and Nevis Athletics Association (SKNAA).

They were warmly welcomed by the Minister, prior to an official, private setting, to discuss relevant issues, pertaining to the development of sports on the island of Nevis.

Mr. Harris, for his part, indicated that he has roots in Nevis, as his Mom is originally from Gingerland and indicated that he is committed to ensuring that the game of Football is further developed on the island and that the many talents are given their due opportunities to excel.

Mr. Delaney echoed similar sentiments, noting that Nevis has produced a number of outstanding athletes and stated that he is committed to ensuring that Nevis gets its fair share, as regards Athletics in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
