The VOJN Primary School held its annual sports meet on Friday, March 7th. The honoured guests for the day were past students and athletes, Lenroy Taylor and Jamilah Jeffers-Hendrickson.
The athletes competed in various events, including the 400 meters, 800 meters, 1200 meters, 150 meters, and 100 meters, as well as the 4×100 meters and 4×400 meters relays.
Zander Nisbett was arguably the standout athlete of the day, but the crowd favourite was undoubtedly Hujari Jeffers, who demonstrated resilience and determination to complete his races, with strong support from his father.
At the end of the day, the final point standings were as follows:
– Blue House: 235 points (champions)
– Gold House: 219 points
– Green House: 155 points
