Gingerland Secondary School (GSS) hosted its annual Inter-House Sports Meet on Thursday, February 12, at the Nevis Athletic Stadium, delivering an exciting day of competition and school spirit.
The event was graced by distinguished patrons and former outstanding athletes, Mansfield Roberts and Yolanda Smithen, whose presence added prestige to the occasion.
Students competed fiercely across a full slate of track events, including the hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races, as well as the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. The meet featured several standout performances, highlighted by impressive displays from CARIFTA qualifiers Jaden Hendrickson and Shandon Burton, who thrilled spectators with their speed and athleticism.
At the end of an action-packed day, Blue House emerged as the overall champions, securing a well-earned victory.

Blue House – 273 points (Champions)
Red House – 258 points
Green House – 170 points
