The Combermere Pre School held its annual sports meet on Wednesday 20th March, at the VOJN Primary School grounds.
The esteemed patrons were, parents associated with the school, Dretszel Nisbett and Grason Phillips.
After an impressive march past, the athletes competed in such races as flat races, filling the bottle, socks and shoes, threading the roll, bucket and ball, dress up races and relays.
The parents and spectators were also allowed to compete in races of their own and the winners were given some fabulous prizes.
There was one scary incident that occurred during the meet. A swarm of bees invaded the field and forced most persons to take cover for an extended period.
However, the meet continued after that unplanned pause.
At the end of the day, the final result was:
Blue House 245 points-champions
Green House 170 points
