The Cicely Browne Integrated School held its annual cross-country event on Tuesday 28th February.
There was much hype and excitement, as the children were ready to compete and the many parents and other supporters, including a contingent from the nearby Ivor Walters Primary School, watched on in anxious anticipation.
The first set of races were coordinated very close to the school but the two major races, saw the athletes running through the nearby village and making the run back on the main road to the school.
