Athletics: EPPS Senior Athletes Excite in Road Relays

On Friday, January 16, senior boys and girls of the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School (EPPS) took centre stage in the school’s annual road relay competition, delivering thrilling performances that captivated spectators.

The male and female races began at Lucina Chapman’s Shop in Clay Ghaut and saw athletes race through Beaumont, Cox, and Montpelier. Teams passed batons at designated points along the route before the event concluded at the school grounds, showcasing endurance, teamwork, and determination.

* 1st: Green Giants
* 2nd: Red Bulls
* 3rd: Golden Stars

**Senior Boys**

* 1st: Red Bulls
* 2nd: Green Giants
* 3rd: Golden Stars

**Points Standings**

* Red House: 86 points
* Green House: 75 points
* Gold House: 65 points

The road relays were a highlight of EPPS’s athletics calendar and reflected the school’s continued commitment to developing sporting talent and promoting healthy competition among its students.
