Gold House delivered a commanding performance at the St. James’ Primary School Annual Road Relay, held on Monday, February 9.
The event featured two races — an all-girls’ race and an all-boys’ race — with both competitions utilising the same route. Participants began at the school’s main gate, proceeded along the main road, made a right turn into the housing project area, then returned to the main road before finishing back at the school.
Gold House proved dominant on the day, capturing first-place honours in both the girls’ and boys’ races.
At the conclusion of the event, the overall point standings were as follows:
Gold House — 40 points
Red House — 36 points
The strong showing by Gold House secured them the top position in this year’s relay competition.
