The recorders at the Ivor Walters Primary School must have had a tough job recounting the points for the various houses.
So competitive was the sports meet, held on Friday 3rd March.
It was held at the Nevis athletic stadium under the distinguished patronage of former student and outstanding athlete, Ms. Cleopatra Perry.
The athletes competed fiercely in the 400, 200, 100, 800, 4×100 and 4X400 meters races, among others.
A huge crowd was on hand and there were some close finishes to excite the spectators.
An exhibition race featuring the students at the neighbourly CBIS school, certainly got the attention of the spectators, as the winner gave a USAIN Bolt signature sign in celebrating his win.
