The Ministry of Education on Nevis had slated a press conference for today-Wednesday 4th May, in order to clarify issues pertaining to the final points standing from the recently concluded Gulf Insurance Interprimary Athletic Meet.
However, On Tuesday afternoon, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Kevin Barrett, indicated that the press conference has been postponed indefinitely.
Some meetings were held during the course of Tuesday, which involved the Heads of the various schools and other officials and certain things were pointed out with respect to the meet and the Ministry needs some time to verify certain information, before making any further announcements as regards the final points for the respective schools.
