Athletics Half Island Road Relay Is on for Saturday

The SKN Moves Nevis chapter will be hosting another major event for the year, this coming Saturday 29th October

It is the fourth edition of the half-island road relay walk. The event this year is sponsored by the Nevis Cooperative Credit Union.

Chief Coordinator of the event, Miss Shelagh James, is assuring the general public that the event is definitely on.

The registration for the breakfast, concluded on Monday 24th October. However, persons can still register as solo athletes, or as teams, up to Friday 28th October.

Some special prizes are now up for grabs for the following:

The first male to complete the entire route

First female to complete the entire route

Youngest finisher

Oldest finisher

Just a reminder of the route:
Starting at Brick Kiln Village, next to the home of the Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams; baton pass at Esmie’s in Butlers; Baton pass at Fothergills; baton pass at Market Shop; baton pass at Brown Hill gap and conclude at the Fit Wellness Park, with closing and awards ceremony.
