Athletics : Kamarley Newton-Fastest Man in The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis

Kamarley Newton has established himself as the fastest male athlete in St. Kitts and Nevis for 2025.

This feat was accomplished at the Nevis Athletic stadium on Sunday, 22nd June, when the St. Kitts and Nevis Athletic Association hosted its annual NATIONALS and Club championships.

Newton raced to second place in the 100 meters, beaten only by an Antiguan competitor, who was a visiting participant in the event.

Other notable performances:
Akanye Samuel Francis maintained his dominance in the 400m hurdles and the 400m.

In a thrilling women’s 400m final, Kaylia Jones edged out DeCheynelle Thomas for the win.

Tijuanique Morton completed a remarkable sprint double, capturing national titles in both the 100m and 200m.

Datryel Stanley won his first-ever national title, claiming the 200m.

On his return home, Alexander Caines won the 800m impressively over a competitive field.
