An under 20, 4X100 team representing the St. Kitts-Nevis Athletic Association, has journeyed to Columbia to compete in the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships from the 1st to 6th August 2022.
The team consists of Akadianto Willett, William Sharpe, Shamarie Newton-Roberts, Aldrett Nisbett and K’Anthony Benjamin.
Travelling with the team as Head Coach will be, Vice President of St. Kitts Nevis Athletics, Mr. Dwayne Warner, accompanying him will be Mr. Damon Bacchus as Team Manager.
The team has been training together since February 2022 and has competed in Carifta Games 49 in April 2022 held in Jamaica placing 5th with a time of 42.08s and at the Friendship Invitational held in Martinique in May 2022 then placing 2nd with a time of 42.60s.
Their first race would be on Thursday 4th August 2022.
