Students, teachers, and supporters gathered on Thursday, March 5, for the annual sports meet of Cecely Browne Integrated School, an event marked by spirited competition and heartfelt tributes. ♂️
The meet was held under the distinguished patronage of Tamika Wells, who was recognised for her support and encouragement of the school’s activities.
The event also paid special tribute to the late D’asia Mills, a former student of the institution who passed away recently. During the ceremony, heartfelt profiles were read in her honour, followed by a touching tribute that concluded with the release of balloons, symbolising remembrance and celebration of her life.
Throughout the day, students participated enthusiastically in various athletic events, displaying determination, teamwork, and school spirit.
At the end of the competition, Honey Bees emerged as champions with 239 points, while Blue Berries finished second with 203 points.
The day served not only as a celebration of sports and student achievement but also as a meaningful moment of reflection and remembrance for the school community.
