Police Officers on St. Kitts are investigating the suspected suicide of a 15 year old girl. The Washington Archibald High School student was found hanging at her father’s residence in Shadwell Housing, St. Kitts yesterday Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
Reports are that at about 6: 45 a.m. Officers of Criminal Investigation Department, Crime Scene Unit and Special Victim Unit responded to a report of death by hanging at a residence in Shadwell Housing.
The lifeless body of 15 years old, Azaria Hanley was discovered by her father hanging in the bathroom.
The District Medical Officer Dr. Reginad Oloughin visited the scene and pronounced the juvenile dead.
News circling on social media indicates that the teenager was going through a difficult stage in her life.
An autopsy will be performed at a later date to determine the actual cause of death.
