Coach Alex Claxton reported that they drew the first game versus the defending champions, with a score line of nil-all, then won the second game with a score line of 3-2.

The manager of the team also took time out to thank the Nevis Island Administration and the other sponsors, who helped to make the trip possible and the parents and supporters of the team.
Also on hand to welcome the team, was Deputy Director at the Sports Department, Mr. Brian Dowe, who congratulated the team for their achievements during the tournament.
Minister of Sports, Hon. Eric Evelyn, also shared his words of commendation for the team, noting that when he heard that there was a financial dilemma in getting the team to St. Maarten, his Ministry quickly stepped in to assist.
