Inter primary champs, the Jocelyn Liburd Primary School (JLPS), held yet another pre sports day event on Friday 29th January.
This time around, it was the cross country relays for male and female athletes.
The route was the same for the two races.
The athletes started in the vicinity of the Gingerland Police station and headed through HardTimes, making a turn to head down Rawlin’s road; pass Old Manor; back onto the main road at Market Shop; then back to the school.
The baton was passed three times in the process, with the last pass off at the gateway of the Old Manor Hotel.
At the end of the two exciting events, the following were the results:
