Blue House Rules at NISS

The Nevis International Secondary School hosted their annual sports meet on Friday, March 1st. The event was held with the distinguished patronage of former student-athletes Annique Jeffers and Kenron Collins.

The students participated in both traditional and non-traditional events such as the 100, 400, and 800-meter races, as well as lime and spoon, three-legged races, and tug of war.

At the end of the day, Blue House emerged as the winning team by 18 points with a score of 157, while Gold House scored 138 points.

Here are the overall scores of the event:
– Cross Country House: 71 points for Blue House, 65 points for Gold House
– Road Relay: 155 points for Blue House, 145 points for Gold House
– Basketball: 49 points for Blue House, 51 points for Gold House
– Walkathon: 95 points for Blue House, 94 points for Gold House
– Swimming: 40 points for Blue House, 25 points for Gold House
– Volleyball: 13 points for Blue House, 20 points for Gold House
– Football: 0 points for Blue House, 10 points for Gold House
– Cricket: 21 points for Blue House, 22 points for Gold House
– Old Skool Games: 32 points for Blue House, 33 points for Gold House
– Sports Day: 157 points for Blue House, 138 points for Gold House

The total points for each house were 627 for Blue House and 609 for Gold House, making Blue House the overall champion of the event.
