Book documenting 80 year history of St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party to be launched

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 15TH 2013 (CUOPM) – A book written to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Workers League/St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party will be launched on Monday 16th September (National Heroes Day).

The book “For the Good that We Can Do” documents 80 years of working class progress, trade unionism and political activism in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The 166-page book is intended for reference by party members and supporters, students and the general public.

It will be launched to conclude the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Robert L. Bradshaw Memorial Park at St. Paul’s.

September 16th is the birthdates of two of the Federation’s National Heroes – the Right Excellent Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw and the Right Excellent Sir Joseph Nathaniel France.

It is authored by Ken Tilley, a Canadian communications consultant.
