Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 19, 2016 (SKNIS): Mr. Pierre Bowrin, Policy Advisor in the Ministry of Information Technology, has commended Open Interactive for identifying the talents of Rovin Dore, Asqil Ferlance and Kurvon Wallace and utilizing these talents in the building of the government’s new E portal.

Speaking at Thursday’s launch of the portal Mr Bowrin said, “We have some very young technical skilled persons who built this. All of these guys have come in and we have shared with them. We have learnt from them. They have learnt from us. It’s really been a good experience. I knew we had skilled persons in St Kitts and Nevis but it was really nice to see young persons who are as technically skilled as persons anywhere else in the world and I’m serious.”

Mr Bowrin said that the Federation should be proud of the fact that young person are making impressive strides, noting “I hear a lot of the thing said about young people; they get a lot of flak because sometimes they don’t do thing the way they should but there are very educated, highly skilled and motivated young people right here in St Kitts and Nevis, male and female, who are doing very well.”

He further expressed gratitude to Stachio Williams and said that he looks forward to continued partnership with open interactive.
