Reports reaching this media house indicate that a tourist has lost his life in a boating accident on Pinney’s Beach, Nevis, today Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Information received indicate that a local boat operator was concluding an excursion when the small vessel collided into the victim, who was said to be swimming outside of the safe swimming zone.
Eye witnesses indicate that the victim was apparently hit by the propeller of the vessel and his body cut into pieces.
Members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force along with members of the Defense Force and the Coast Guard are currently on the scene investigating the matter.
