Breaking News-Nevis Academy Is In!

History will be created this year for the Gulf Insurance Interprimary Meet or the MINI OLYMPICS, as it is dubbed, as the privately run primary school, THE NEVIS ACADEMY, will be competing as a single entity in the competition, for the first time.
This was confirmed on Tuesday 12th March, by Headmistress of the institution, Dr. Andrea Bussue, as the athletes from the school, went through their paces, at the Mondo track, under the watchful eyes of Coach Carlisle Powell.
Dr. Bussue noted that some years ago, the school’s athletes were allowed to compete in the prestigious event, in partnership with the Maude Cross Preparatory School, but this year, the school will be competing as a single entity.
Coach Powell confidently stated: “We have some good athletes. We will not just be participating—we will be competing.”
Dr. Bussue further added: ‘And we will be collecting some medals as well.’
The big event is set for Wednesday April 3rd at the Mondo track.
