(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Criminal activity seems to be the order of the day in Nevis today Thursday, February 27, 2014. The citizens of Nevis are crying out as crimes seem to be spiraling out of control.
This publication has learnt that there were a series of robberies today. Information on this matter is still sketchy but according to unconfirmed reports sometime after midday Sherma Liburd who owns and operates a nursery in the Morning Star area was robbed at gunpoint by a masked gunman.
It is still unclear if the bandit was able to escape with any item(s).
However, it is reported that the matter is under investigation including the two shooting incidents that occurred in the New Castle area that have left one male nursing a bullet wound in his foot.
