BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JULY 8TH 2014 (CUOPM) – Cabinet’s approval of the Heldens Estate Condo Resort & Residences will see the construction of over 200 condos, apartments and villas in the Parish of St. Paul’s, St. Kitts.
Consistent with the government’s vision for the development in the White Gate area, the multi-million dollar project will see the construction of several amenities including restaurants and bars, tennis courts and swimming pools and the employment of hundreds of persons.
Minister of Information, Sen. the Hon. Nigel Carty in the Post Cabinet Briefing said the new Heldens Estate Condo Resort & Residences will add to the Kittitian Hill development, which will have a soft opening on July 10, and other developments planned for the White Gate area.
“The project will provide hundreds of employment opportunities for tradesmen and other local people in the design and construction phase, and will provide many long-term employment opportunities in its operational phase,” said Minister Carty.
He said Prime Minister the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is pleased to see St. Kitts and Nevis attract more and more high-end development projects leading to sustainable employment and business opportunities for many local people and businesses.
Prime Minister Douglas he said envisaged many persons who have been trained under the People Employment Programme (PEP) will continue to find long-term employment at Kittitian Hill and at Heldens Estate Condo Resort & Residences in the not-too-distant future.
