(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- Mr. Justin Cassell popularly known as ‘Hero’ is a singer/songwriter who hails from the island of Montserrat. He also holds a BSC in Agriculture.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2017 he traveled to Nevis to share his wealth of experience via a workshop. The workshop is set to last for a five-day period. The morning sessions will accommodate children between the ages of 8 to 17 years old. Adults who will also be participating in the workshop, will be accommodated from 5pm until 8 pm.

He elaborated on a number of things including how to be a great singer. Cassell indicated that the way a person speaks, helps with their singing hence pronunciation plays an important role when singing. He noted that a person might fall in love with the art form of calypso, but choose the wrong forum in an effort to express their love.

Cassell has traveled the world over and performed in a number of different countries including England, Germany and Morocco. His song ‘Tiney Winey’ is an international hit song. He is also the composer of Arrow’s most popular song, ‘HOT HOT HOT’.
