He may not be one of the on field umpires in any of the two games, but Nevis’ very own regional cricketing umpire, Carl Tuckett, will still play a significant umpiring role, in the two semifinal matches to be hosted by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), at the Coolidge Cricket Ground (CCG), as part of the regional 50 overs tournament.
In semifinal one, to be played between the defending champions, Trinidad and Tobago Red force and the Jamaica Scorpions, on Wednesday 15th February, Tuckett will perform the role of TV umpire.
The following day, Thursday 16th February in semifinal number two, between the Leewards Hurricanes and the Barbados Pride, Tuckett will perform the role of 4th official.
