Charlestown SDA Church Salutes NSWMA Workers

Charlestown-Nevis-On Saturday 15th July, the members of staff of the Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA), were honoured at the Sabbath day’s service, held at the Charlestown Seventh Day Adventist Church.

As explained by Elder Danny Williams, the church was celebrating its Community Services Day and felt it necessary to pay tribute to the men and women who serve tirelessly to keep Nevis clean and healthy.

“We cannot pay you,” he stated, ‘but we hope that you will appreciate this small token.’

This is in reference to a plaque and a gift bag, given to each of the workers present.

The featured presentation of the day was delivered by Pastor Shawn Simmonds, who lauded the men and women at the Authority for their selfless and sacrificial service to the nation.
