Chelsea FC Coaches Arrive in St. Kitts for Digicel KickStart Clinic

Basseterre, St. Kitts (June 14, 2014) – Coaches from the world-renowned Chelsea Football Club, have arrived in St. Kitts to host the Digicel KickStart Clinic for 2014.

Scott Nurse, Zak Wooster and International Technical Support Officer, Steven Winnett, chaperoned by Digicel Group Sponsorship Manager, Marilyn Allen, arrived at the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport earlier today (June 14), and were greeted by members of the media and Digicel Staff.

The Digicel KickStart Clinic will see thirty (30) of the Federation’s best young boys and girls undergo an intense three-day training with the Chelsea FC Coaches.

Marsha Chatterjee, Digicel’s Marketing Manager welcomed the team to St. Kitts: “We are so happy that you are here! Our footballers are excited about next week’s KickStart Clinic – they have been training hard in the pre-clinics with local coaches and I know they are eager to learn whatever you have prepared to teach them.‘’
The DKSC takes place on Monday 16th June 2014 to Wednesday 18th June 2014 at the Newtown Playing Field, starting 3:00pm daily. At the end of the Clinic, all participants will be receiving Chelsea FC-endorsed Certificates of Participation and three of the young footballers will also be selected to attend an all-expenses paid trip to the Digicel KickStart Academy in Bridgetown, Barbados and represent St. Kitts and Nevis amongst other Digicel Caribbean islands.
