Cheslyn Hutton Sentenced for Unlawful Carnal Knowledge

Cheslyn Hutton of Cotton Ground, Nevis, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offences of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and Procuring Drugs to Perform a Miscarriage.

Mr Hutton was initially charged on May 3, 2025, with six (6) counts of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and one (1) count of Procuring Drugs to Perform a Miscarriage.

On February 27, 2026, at the Nevis Circuit Court, presided over by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, K.C., Mr Hutton pleaded guilty to the following offences:

Counts 4, 5, and 6 of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, for which he was sentenced to eight (8) years’ imprisonment; and

Count 7 of Procuring Drugs to Perform a Miscarriage, for which he was sentenced to one (1) year’s imprisonment, to run consecutively.

The sentences reflect the seriousness of the offences and the Court’s commitment to protecting vulnerable persons and upholding the law.
