A previous source had indicated that the Charlestown Primary School will be hosting their annual cross country events, this week, as the school term begins, but Coach Roston Queeley has confirmed that the much looked forward to races will definitely not take place this week.
Instead, he has indicated that the races will be held on Friday 18th January.
What is still to be finalized, is whether or not the races will all be run during the course of the morning, or some will be left for the afternoon session.
The Charlestown Primary School is the defending interprimary champions from last year and much is expected of the champion school as it goes into the busy sports term.
